Clinging to the shattered remains of Earth's once-proud Moon, the Orokin Hall of Memories is an ideal place for Tenno to test their skill against each other. Under the guidance of Teshin and following the tenants of his Conclave, Tenno may continue to explore the Ways of Old, testing their boundaries in the towering structures of the Orokin.
The Hall of Memories is a new Capture the Cephalon level designed to make the most of Tenno speed and agility. Our original concept saw the map as being a memory bank for Orokin history, broken but not entirely inoperable. Abandoned by explorers and of no use to the Lotus, this isolated area almost feels like a museum from another age.
Looking beyond the Orokin structures within the tileset we also have a great opportunity to show how the Orokin interacted with their environment -- a first in Warframe! Hints of their methodology in terraforming are seen throughout the map, including some of the flora that's become synonymous with Orokin design.
The map design is asymmetrical, which means both teams are on equal footing as they move to reach the objective, but just because the level design offers equal pathing doesn't mean the terrain can't tell a story. The Hall of Memories has been abandoned for quite some time, and there are signs of damage from the Moon's unnatural state around every corner.
Mastering this new Capture the Cephalon map takes time, but for those Tenno who strive to meet Teshin's ideals, there is no challenge that cannot be overcome with dedication to the Ways of Old.
The Hall of Memories will be available on PC in Update 18. Keep an eye out for more information on this exciting Update as we get closer to its release.
