Welcome to By the Numbers, where we look death in the eye and ask him to show us some information.
This data can be anything and everything: from deadliest enemy to most-played mission type. Every two weeks stats are brought to the table to analyze what Tenno have been up to off -- and maybe even on -- their Lisets.
Today, we are looking at interesting Tenno preferences revealed during Operation: Eyes of Blight on PC, including what weapons seemed to be most effective against Grineer.
With the special Balor Fomorian event soon to hit consoles, perhaps PS4 and XB1 Tenno can learn from their PC brethren:
Top 8 Deadliest Archwing Weapons (Eyes of Blight Event, PC)
Archwing weapons are all oversized, but even amongst these massive tools of war it's clear Tenno prefer getting up close to attack in rapid succession. (An interesting shift from non-Archwing missions where most kills occur at long range.) These numbers don't take into consideration special ability usage, so it may be that Tenno find Archwing powers are more suited toward comfortably entering close-range combat with the enemy.
Either that, or Tenno just like smashing Grineer with hammers.
Top 5 Deadliest Archwing Enemies (Eyes of Blight Event, PC)
Surprisingly, no single enemy dominated on kills. Even considering the Shield-Hellion Dargyn and Temporal Dreg have a lower spawn frequency than other Dreg and Dargyn types, every unit still performs relatively well.
General Stats:
Any chatter about Warframe's deadliest enemies has been largely focused on three big threats of late. Nullifier Crewman, Tar-Mutalist MOAs and Grineer Bombards top lists for their determination at halting Tenno killing sprees. But, taking a look at which enemy most often lands the killing blow -- it's clear that every Grineer Dog has its day.
Even when equipped with a Warframe's unique abilities and superior firepower, the Lotus would appreciate her operatives taking more care around these foes:
Deadliest Enemies (PC, XB1, PS4) Jan 6 - Jan 12
Of course, no Tenno would ever fall to the might of a single Infested Charger. These enemies have earned their killing blows through teamwork, and when we take a look at what enemies have the highest marks for Assists we see a lot of familiar faces.
Infested enemies like the Volatile Runner and Ancient Healer sit toward the higher end of the spectrum, while single-target high-damage enemies like the Grineer Ballista don't even break into the top 30. Spawn rate is also worth mentioning, since dangerous enemies appear less frequently (or in fewer numbers).
So, which enemies rank as the most group-minded, co-operative foes likely to gang-up on and defeat poor Tenno?
Assisted Kills (PC, XB1, PS4) Jan 6 - Jan 12
Perhaps it's due to their swarming melee nature, but Infested enemies seem to have the edge when it comes to working together. Maybe Alad V really was onto something.
This concludes our first By the Numbers!
Keep an eye out for future installments... Are Tenno truly masters of Blade and Gun? Let's find out together!
