If you’re new to Warframe, you may be wondering what all of this ‘Prime’ and ‘Prime Access’ talk is about. Read on for full info on these elite game elements and bundles!

WHAT IS A PRIME?
Prime Warframes, Weapons and Sentinels are actual pieces of Ancient Orokin technology. These elite intricately gilded items have highly advantageous qualities and feature added polarity slots – allowing you to equip more powerful Mods and saving space in your MOD Capacity.

Non-Prime Warframes, Weapons and Sentinels are based on Orokin technology, however they are not genuine Orokin articles.

WHERE CAN I FIND PRIME ITEMS?
Prime items are not easily found. They must be created by combining Prime Parts and Blueprints found in the Orokin Void.
The Void consists of two Towers that exist outside the realms of normal space. These Orokin structures are protected by enemies known as The Corrupted. To reach the Orokin Void, you will need a Void Key (or play with a fellow Tenno with a Key). Each Key has a set mission type (Capture, Defense, Exterminate, Interception or Mobile Defense), and difficulty level (I, II, III or IV).
While in the Void, you have the chance to obtain Prime Parts and Blueprints. Once you have earned all of the necessary components and resources, you can combine them in the Foundry on your ship to create the Prime Item. Each Foundry build will take a pre-determined amount of time to complete. This time varies by item but ranges from 12 to 72 hours.

WHAT IS PRIME ACCESS?
Prime Access is a rotating program that includes the latest Prime Warframes and Prime Gear in bundles with discounted Platinum and other exclusive items. Prime Access offers instant access to the latest Prime Warframes and Prime Gear without requiring the build time.
