Ask any veteran Tenno what keeps them coming back to the Origin System, and your answer will quite likely include something about Fashion Framing. “Fashion Frame is endgame” has been a popular refrain in the wider community for some time now, and for good reason: the sheer volume of available Customizations allows you to create endless versions of your favorite Warframes and Loadouts. Among the most unique and desirable of these Customizations are those released as part of the TennoGen program.

If you’re a newer player, aspiring artist, or embarking on your Fashion Framing journey for the first time, you should definitely be familiar with TennoGen! You’ll find all the information you need below.

JUST WHAT IS TENNOGEN, ANYWAY?

TennoGen refers to unique Customizations created by Tenno, for Tenno. Talented artists from the Warframe community are able to submit their own unique designs for the following:

- Warframes Skins (texture)
- Warframe Alt Helmets (texture/remodel)
- Syandanas
- Landing Craft Skins
- Operator Accessories
- Select Melee Weapon Skins
- Select Primary and Secondary Weapon Skins
- Chest Armor Pieces
- Shoulder Armor Pieces
- Leg Armor Pieces

Have a cool idea for a new design? Go for it! Submissions are open to all Tenno.

HOW DOES TENNOGEN SUPPORT WARFRAME ARTISTS?

All design submissions are carefully reviewed by Digital Extremes’ internal art department and, if selected, are implemented directly into Warframe! The TennoGen artist involved then receives a 30% revenue share on the Steam sale of their creation(s). So, by adding TennoGen items to your Arsenal, you’re helping to directly support hard-working community artists!

WHERE CAN I FIND IT?

If you play Warframe on PC, you can access TennoGen content directly through Steam! If you play on console, you’ll be able to find TennoGen content through the in-game Market, available for Platinum.

TennoGen collections will occasionally be split into multiple parts to accommodate the high number of submissions that we receive. These parts are clearly delineated on PC as “Part 1”, “Part 2”, etc., while consoles typically receive the same items in the form of various TennoGen Bundles.

HOW BIG IS THE TENNOGEN CATALOG?

As of this writing, the TennoGen program has supported dozens of artists from the Warframe community who have created hundreds of unique Customizations. With so many items to choose from, you’ll have no problem finding the next perfect accessory for your Fashion Frame!
