Warframe: The Remote Observer: Vol 61

Welcome to issue 61 of The Remote Observer, Tenno! With the HUGE release of The Jovian Concord on PC, we wanted to draw some attention to the fixes and changes that may have slipped you by when browsing our patch notes! As always, these fixes will be included in the Console Versions of The Jovian Concord.

BUILD IT! FIX IT! SHIP IT!

With new mainline updates, there is a rush of fixes and Quality of Life changes that are added, and this release was no exception! Dotted among the new features added with The Jovian Concord on PC, there was a whole rash of bug-stomping and new changes! To give you a brief overview on some of the things you might have missed, here is a list!

Captura Goodness! - Sanctuary Onslaught now has a chance of dropping the Vey Hek Trail scene!
Shield Tanking! - Hildryn will now use her Shields when channeling Melee!
Robotic Respect! - Arc-Traps will no longer be programed to hate your Sentinels! Better make sure you are well-grounded, Tenno!
Rooty-Tooty Positions! - Several changes made to the way secondary weapons and melee weapons sit on certain frames to prevent clipping and other location issues!
Taxon Rage Control! - The Taxon had it’s bloodthirst setting reduced when Retarget and Molecular Conversion are installed, so it will no longer attack animals when they are captured! Bad Taxon! Back in your box!
Blinded by Inaction! - Some Blinded enemies forgot they were supposed to be fighting after the Blinded condition had worn off. We reminded them to get back into the fight with a strongly-worded letter to their managers! What do we pay them for?!
Faster than the Eye Can See! - Fixed weapon trails disappearing when certain Attack Speed Mods were creating a flurry of super-fast strikes. Kill in all the colors of the rainbow!
Ephemera Glue! - Now your Emphera will stick to you, even after you have entered a cutscene! Some Tenno were finding that their velcro attachment just wasn’t strong enough...
Ride ‘em, Tenno! - The Ropalolyst will channel it’s inner buckaroo, and kick you off of it if you try to outstay your welcome!
Recalling the Smash and Stab! - Hildryn and Garuda Specters will now remember to murder correctly, and not forget to use their powers!
Adapting Adaptation! - The Adaptation Mod will now correctly give your Tenno a buff when they are downed, instead of being a lazy good-for-nothing: sucking up points and for zero in return! Sternly. Worded. Letters. Works every time.
Color Crazy! - Lots of fixes for Weapons, Warframes and Cosmetics which were keeping their default colors after the addition of two-tone energy colors!

WARFRAME NEEDS YOU(R FEEDBACK - AND YOU - WE STILL LOVE YOU)!

Mainline releases are large, they include a lot of fixes and features, but with the addition of brand-new content, your feedback is imperative to finding issues and letting us know what you like, don’t like, or what you think may be broken or needs a change!

TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION, TRADING AND YOU - A REMINDER!

Trading and account security are big concerns of us and the community, so when The Jovian Concord releases, we will be implementing a change that requires traders (both parties) to have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on their account.

It’s important to note that 2FA on accounts can drastically reduce the threat of having your account hijacked, and used for nefarious means. Bad actors and scammers will often use compromised accounts to trade illicitly with regular, innocent players, and those interactions can have detrimental, knock-on effects to player accounts.

We wanted to give you some incentive to use 2FA as well, so if you enable 2FA, or you already have 2FA enabled on your account, you will receive the exclusive Fae Step Ephemera, delivered to your account when the update deploys!
