Check Out Our New Player Experience Workshop

Koumei & the Five Fates is fast approaching and it's bringing one of our biggest helpings of New Player Experience and overall Quality of Life improvements yet! Expect a healthy dose of Quest adjustments and quality-of-life improvements that should make life easier in the Origin System for both new and existing players.

You can see a much deeper dive in our New Player Experience Dev Workshop, which also includes a breakdown of all the other adjustments we've made in 2024, as well as a look ahead to the future. Here are just a few highlights:

• Unowned Mods now show their drop locations in the Codex
• Void Relics now show if you already own or have crafted any of their possible rewards
• Incubating your first Kubrow during the Howl of the Kubrow Quest now only takes 60 seconds, rather than 48 hours

Listen to "What is My Fate?" Now

Also shown on Devshorts was a brief tease of music from the upcoming Koumei & the Five Fates update. The song — “What is My Fate?” — should get you in the mood for the update! Who is Koumei, and what will be our fate when the update releases? Devstream 181 will uncover some of these secrets, but in the meantime, you can enjoy the song on YouTube.

Hotfixing Paused Until Koumei

Naturally, this all means our development team is heads down on Koumei & the Five Fates. As such, hotfixes will be temporarily paused until after the update releases. There will be several Code Fixes coming with the update when it launches, but our developers will otherwise be focused on making Koumei the best it can be. That said, the iOS version of Warframe will continue to receive hotfixes focused on improving performance specific to that platform.

Devstream 181 Arrives Next Week

Don’t avert your eyes, Tenno. The next Devstream is almost here! Devstream 181 will offer further details about Koumei & the Five Fates and more Warframe news on September 27, 2024 at 10 p.m. ET on twitch.tv/Warframe. Get all the action straight from the showfloor at Tokyo Game Show 2024!

Since it will be airing from Japan, we understand that it might be a bit early or late for Tenno elsewhere around the globe. The entire show will be available to watch afterwards on our YouTube channel and a written recap will be available on Warframe.com.

Corruption Alerts Week 3

We’re halfway through September, and our Corruption Alerts continue! Every weekend this month, players can tackle these Alerts to earn guaranteed Corrupted Mods. The third set of Alerts will start this Friday, September 20 at 11 a.m. ET. By tackling this set, you’ll be rewarded with a guaranteed copy of Tainted Shell and 30,000 Credits!

One Week Left for PlayStation Network Sales

There’s only one week remaining on our deal on Warframe packs for PlayStation players. While the sale on the Sanctum Collection and Initiate Power Pack has ended on other platforms, the deal will remain live on the PlayStation Store until September 26 at 3 p.m. ET. After this sale ends, the Sanctum Collection and Initiate Power Pack will also be removed from storefronts, so don't wait, Tenno!

Last Chance for Octavia Prime and Nezha Prime Resurgence

The song is almost over, the flames are dying down. The duo of Octavia Prime and Nezha Prime comprise our current Prime Resurgence rotation, but their reign is coming to an end soon. They’ll be replaced on September 26 at 2 p.m. ET by Nova Prime and Trinity Prime.
