On Devstream 187, we took a moment to relax, have fun and include you, our Tenno, a bit more in designing and destroying all things Warframe. We spoke about upcoming quality of life in our interim Cert build, new TennoGen and the Kullervo Deluxe Skin, and witnessed the chaos of Warframe unhinged.
Our Merch store is currently offline while we’re moving warehouses. Items such as the TennoCon Merch pack will resume availability once we’ve finished our move! If you want to be alerted when that happens, you can go to the Merch store website to be notified when we’re back online!

The new Protoframes coming with Techrot Encore may not be romancable, but that doesn’t stop us from imagining a world where they might be!
Romancing Kaya
Romancing Minerva
Romancing... Flare with Lizzie?!
From May 2nd to May 19th, a new Tactical Alert will be introduced each weekend, tasking players with capturing treacherous Ghouls. You’ll only be armed with a self-damaging Ogris using the new but familiar Volatile Ogris skin (which, yes, you do get to keep!).
This is a small scope event of Weekend Alerts, with no Abilities, Operator/Drifter, swapping weapons, using Gear Wheel items or Companions. However, Warframe Mods and Arcanes still apply!
You’ll be able to acquire the Tak & Lug Grineer Sword and Shield, and the Tonkkatt Grineer Tonfas! Over the course of May, you’ll see the following Alerts pop up:
Weekend 1: Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. ET - Monday, May 5 at 11 a.m. ET.
Weekend 2: Friday, May 9 at 11 a.m. ET - Monday, May 12 at 11 a.m. ET.
Weekend 3: Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. ET - Monday, May 19 at 11 a.m. ET.
We’re building an Augment for Caliban’s Razor Gyre! Caliban currently doesn’t have any Augments, and with his rework not too long ago (has it really been 6 months already?), what better time is there than now?
Disclaimer: the Augment we’re making is just a prototype! What’s shown is not exactly what will appear when we launch the Augment later.
To begin, we’re starting with an Augment for Caliban’s Razor Gyre, which reads as: “Now groups the enemies you hit. Ortholyst summons will launch coordinated strikes on grouped enemies."
To start, we took Inaros’ grouping ability, and began breaking it down to work with Caliban’s Razor Gyre. Cristiano then took us through the process of coding an Augment’s functionality into a Warframe’s ability (in this case, Caliban), and how goes into the technicality of what makes a Warframe a Warframe. (It’s coding canon, not lore canon!)
Once all was done, we ended with an Augment that draws enemies in with Razor Gyre, allowing spawned Ortholysts to automatically surround the enemies, fire faster and apply guaranteed Electric Status Effects!
Plus, we may have broken it a little bit. For fun!
As a reminder, this Augment is a prototype! What was shown isn’t what will appear in-game, as we’ll have to go through a lot of coding and balancing before it gets into your hands!
As part of Devstream 188’s shenanigans, we took to the code with our “Chaos Programmer" Cristiano!
To finish: Our survey results are in—69,483 responses! Here’s a look at what everyone said on the survey!
