Your first task is to locate and loot three Corpus caches. Their exact locations aren’t marked, but you can find them all inside a yellow objective marker shown on your map.
When searching for Corpus Caches, watch for pillars of black smoke. The yellow-and-black caches you need to find will all be marked with a wafting pillar of smoke that you can see from a distance!
Next, you need to shoot down a Corpus spy drone and defend it from enemy reinforcements. Your central objective is to defeat a preset number of Corpus before the drone can be destroyed.
Afterwards, you’ll be sent to check on some missing Solaris agents. Similar to the Corpus caches, you can find each of them inside a yellow circle marked on your map.
This time, though, each agent will get their own yellow objective marker when you get close enough to interact with them.
Special Power Carrier enemies will begin to spawn during this next step. You must kill them, pick up the cells they drop, and deliver them to an Excavator to keep it powered and protected. This also serves as an introduction to a Mission objective you may already be familiar with: Excavation.
Keeping the Excavator powered (and intact) for 100 seconds will complete the objective. In future Extraction Missions, you may need to defend multiple Extractors, but this time there’s only one.
In the final leg of this Quest, Eudico will provide you with your own personal hoverboard: a K-Drive. You will need this to quickly evade the Profit-Taker spider robot and traverse the Orb Vallis. After the Quest is complete, you will unlock a K-Drive Launcher for permanent use in any open zone!
With so many Corpus enemies in this Quest, it may be wise to bring a Weapon that deals Puncture or Magnetic damage. These deal bonus damage to energy shields to help you pop those Corpus foes a bit faster. Puncture and Magnetic (Cold + Electric) to deal with shields. Toxin, meanwhile, will bypass shields altogether!
To reach the next Main Story Quest, you must first meet the requirements listed on the Mercury Junction visible to the west side of Venus. Doing so, and defeating the Specter inside the Junction, will permanently unlock the world of Mercury and its Mission nodes for play.
