Devstream 183 and Warframe: 1999 are on the horizon. Ahead of both momentous events, Creative Director Rebecca Ford and CEO Steve Sinclair are back to talk about all things Warframe in Devshorts! This week will be focused heavily on recent releases and the upcoming Devstream. If you missed the live broadcast, you can find the archives on Twitch and YouTube!

Account Merging Retires January 17

We will retire Account Merging as of January 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. ET. Tenno have been given a two-month heads up, so those interested in making use of this feature should have enough time to merge eligible accounts before it is gone!

Note that Account Linking — which allows you to select a Main Account and link other accounts to it — is intended to remain in perpetuity.

Over time, as more and more players have taken part in Cross Platform Save, the number of accounts that are both eligible to Merge and have not already Merged grows increasingly small. However, the Merging process combines progress and inventory of both accounts, meaning it requires active developer updates each time we release new content for Warframe. As we approach the anniversary of Cross Platform Save, it is less necessary to continue supporting this feature.

Discover Secrets in the Mall Relay

If you missed the Höllvania Central Mall Relay during TennoCon 2024, it’s back once again! Return to the hideout of The Hex to explore, search for secrets and interact with your favorite Protoframes. It seems that something is different about the abandoned shopping center this time around, too. Perhaps there are clues about the nature of the time-bending 1999 update within, or other rewards for an intrepid explorer?

Collect The Hex Warframes in Time for 1999

As we ride ever-closer to the release of Warframe: 1999, you may have heard about The Hex, our brand-new Syndicate. This misfit squad has been brought together due to the machinations of Albrecht Entrati and now they’re ready to face enemies on the streets of Höllvania.

These unique characters will be available to players through the all-new Gemini Series Skins, allowing you to transition between each Protoframe and the corresponding base Warframe. Ahead of 1999’s release, you can make sure you have all of the related Warframes by checking out our unlock guides. We’ve already published guides for acquiring Excalibur, Mag, Volt, and Trinity with more to come!

Garuda Prime and Khora Prime Resurgence

Pierce enemies with crimson talons or your fearsome Kavat’s claws! Prime Resurgence returns with Garuda Prime and Khora Prime, available through Regal Aya. Rereleasing alongside them are select items from the Verv Collection, available from Varzia at Maroo’s Bazaar. Both Warframes can be added to your Arsenal instantly with Regal Aya, or you can exchange Aya for Void Relics to earn them in-game. Bounties and Missions in the Void will help you get the Aya you need!

What to Play this Week: Xaku Prime Relics

Get out there and crack some Relics! As we said earlier, Xaku Prime is currently available in Prime Access, meaning there’s never been a better time to try and pick them up by playing Warframe. Complete missions to pick up some Void Relics and then tackle Void Fissure missions to unlock the goodies inside. Happy hunting, Tenno, and may fortune smile upon your efforts.
