With the Plains of Eidolon, there will be a ton of new content for you to explore and discover when it releases! To celebrate the largest Warframe update ever, we have partnered with Twitch to help you get new and exclusive loot even when you can’t jump in a mission.
When the Plains of Eidolon launches, so will our first ever Twitch Drops event – The Great Eidolon Hunt! For two weeks after its release, viewers will be rewarded for watching their favorite broadcasters streaming Warframe.
Simply make sure that your Warframe and Twitch accounts are linked, and tune into Warframe casts on Twitch for a chance to earn Drops ranging from exclusive Decorations to cosmetics, resources, and even Prime gear!
If that wasn’t enough, you will have a random chance of potentially earning Drops just for tuning in to your favorite broadcaster streaming Warframe during the first two weeks! Linking your Warframe and Twitch account will also unlock an exclusive Twitch Syandana, delivered straight to your inventory upon logging in.
Make sure to link your accounts here: https://www.warframe.com/twitch/link
Got questions? Want to make sure you’re ready for Twitch Drops as soon as The Great Eidolon Hunt begins? We’ve whipped up an FAQ below to help you be prepared for when the Plains of Eidolon launches!
How do I link my Twitch and Warframe account?
You can link your Warframe account to your Twitch account by clicking this link: https://www.warframe.com/twitch/link
If you don’t already have a Twitch account, you can sign up for one here: https://www.twitch.tv/signup
I’m a broadcaster, do I also need to link my Warframe and Twitch accounts to participate in Twitch Drops?
Yes! The Warframe account you are playing on needs to be linked to the Twitch account you are streaming from. Your audience will not receive any Twitch Drops until you do so.
How do I know what Twitch account my Warframe account is linked to?
You can see what accounts are linked when visiting the Account Management section at: https://www.warframe.com/user
Do I need to do anything specific to receive Twitch Drops?
When a Twitch Drop’s criteria has been met (ex: watching 60 cumulative minutes of Warframe streams while logged into a Twitch account that is linked to your Warframe account), you must simply be watching at the moment the Drop occurs in order to receive it.
What if I already linked my account? Do I still get a Syandana?
Yes! The exclusive Twitch Syandana will be magically delivered to your inventory upon logging into Warframe after The Plains of Eidolon launches. All you’ll need to do is enter your Arsenal and equip it!
How can I find Warframe streams eligible for Twitch Drops?
If you’re looking for a Warframe stream to watch but don’t know where to start, you can see what broadcasts are available in the Twitch Directory here: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Warframe
What streamers will drop the exclusive Sigil?
Any of our Warframe Partners and a small number of other broadcasters (to be announced at a later date) will Drop the exclusive Sigil when they unlock the “By the Dawn’s Early Light” Achievement. You can see a full list of our Partners here: https://www.warframe.com/community/partners
Do I need Twitch Prime to participate?
No, you only need to link your Twitch and Warframe account.
What platforms are Twitch Drops eligible for during The Great Eidolon Hunt campaign?
At the launch of Plains of Eidolon on PC, both Console and PC players will be able to view and receive Twitch Drops. However, only PC Tenno will be able to stream and drop them. We plan for drops to be enabled for console streamers after Plains of Eidolon ships on console, as a part of future promotions
