Volt can be selected at the start of the tutorial quest, Awakening, when you first venture into the Origin System. Other starter options include Excalibur and Mag

Even though you can only pick one starter Warframe at the start of the game, you can still craft all three Warframes via your Foundry by obtaining blueprints from specific activities. Unlike the other two starters, however, Volt Blueprints are not earned from defeating bosses. Instead, his Blueprints can be researched and purchased in the Tenno Lab on any Clan Dojo.

To purchase these Blueprints, you will need to join a Clan. If you’re looking for a Clan, check out the Clan Advertisements in-game, or via Recruiting chat. To access Clan Advertisements, go to Communication > Clan via the pause menu in your Orbiter.

Once you have joined a Clan, you’ll need to craft your Clan Key via your Foundry to access the Dojo! You’ll also need to ensure you have the proper rank to replicate Research in order to get your blueprints. Talk to your Clan Members if you need assistance.

Upon entering the Dojo, you can Fast Travel to the Tenno Lab via the Pause Menu or the Gear Wheel. There you will be able to replicate the Blueprints for Volt.

*You could also create one on your own, but that is generally not recommended for newer players as it is relatively resource and time intensive.

There are four Blueprints in total. These Blueprints include:

• Volt Blueprint (purchased from the Tenno Lab)
• Volt Neuroptics Blueprint (purchased from the Tenno Lab)
• Volt Chassis Blueprint (purchased from the Tenno Lab)
• Volt Systems Blueprint (purchased from the Tenno Lab)

Once you have the Blueprints, you can craft all of these items from the Foundry aboard your Orbiter. Each Warframe component (i.e. the Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems) requires 12 real-world hours to craft. Whereas Volt himself requires 72 real-world hours to craft once all three components are ready in your inventory.

You can also purchase Volt (and all other base Warframes) directly from the Market with Platinum.

How to Get Volt Prime

Volt Prime can be purchased from Varzia on Maroo's Bazaar (located on Mars) during Prime Resurgence. You can purchase him directly using Regal Aya or buy Void Relics containing his Blueprints with standard Aya. Standard Aya is acquired from many different activities, including Bounties and completing Missions in The Void.

Likewise, you can trade with other players for the proper Void Relics or Blueprints. Check the Trading channel or ask your Clanmates to find and trade for the Blueprints you need!

Prime Resurgence rotates every few weeks, bringing different Prime Warframes with it, so be sure to check back often to see if the one you want is available!
