Welcome to issue 59 of The Remote Observer, Dreamers! This week we wanted to highlight the changes being made to Nightwave Season 2 based on a collection of your feedback, so kick back, put on some tunes, and take a look at what’s in store!
We posted a thread a while ago, requesting your feedback for Series 1 of Nightwave: The Wolf of Saturn 6, and the results of that feedback have been posted up in our latest Dev Workshop Post for you to see. To give you a brief summary, here are some of the points we addressed:
Playing Catch-Up! - We added a way for you to replay missed acts from previous weeks, incase you have missed them!
Degrindification! - Less Weekly and Elite Weekly acts, but still giving the same amount of Standing as you would get from Series 1! In addition, we are looking to front-load Nightwave Creds as an earlier reward for participating in the Series!
Act Changes! - We have lowered the Time and Wave requirements for some Endless Mission Acts, as well as lowering the cost of Ayatan Statues (this was implemented during Series 1). In addition, we have also removed the ‘with friends’ requirements from all of our Nightwave Acts!
New Acts! - Including the most important one... petting your Kubrow or Kavat. We also included some Acts for Kuva missions, Transmuting Mods and K-Drive Races!
New Story! - Who is The Emissary? What is their story? While we aren’t going to give you any spoilers, we are planning on having the new Series of Nightwave interact with your Tenno in unique, immersive ways. Stay tuned!
AWOOO! - The Wolf will still be hanging around for all your OwO needs! Look for Wolf Beacons to be available in Nora Night’s rotation of goodies!
If you are looking for more details about changes coming to Nightwave Series 2, then you should check out the Dev Workshop Post on the forums, and leave any feedback you may have. Again, it is good to let us know what you want to see, as well as what you like, so all constructive feedback is appreciated!
That’s right! If you managed to see Rebecca’s Forum Update, then you will know that The Jovian Concord is coming, hopefully as soon as next week! We are currently working hard on getting you this update, and we look forward to bringing you all the latest in Gassy, Ghosty fun! In the Jovian Concord, you can expect to see the following:
Wisp! - Speedy, stealthy and armed with a solar laser, our newest addition to the Warframe roster will have you floating on sunshine!
Gas City Remaster! - A newly-remade tileset for you to explore, this time with lots of new features, puzzles, secrets and verticality that other tilesets are envious of! Explore the massive Corpus manufacturing plants, or gaze out into the vast expanse of Jupiter’s gaseous atmosphere!
New Boss Fight! - Something big is lurking in the gas clouds of Jupiter, Tenno. What will you do when the Ropalol... Rope-a-dope... R-Roppadoppalol... when that sentient comes for you!
New Game Mode! - Disruption! It’s going to look a little different from what was shown in the Devstream after some feedback, but it’s coming! Make sure you progress through the main story if you to get to this new mode!
New Stuff! - Mods, Weapons, Operations, a Deluxe Skin for Nyx... we have a fully loaded bag of goodies, ready to drop into your clients for the low, low cost of 3GB of hard drive space!
Fashion Energy! - We have further changes to energy coloring, by separating out the Power and Warframe colors for even further customization! Show us your screenshots, Tenno!
All of the above and many, many more new changes and features coming soon with The Jovian Concord! Remember, if you have feedback or you encounter any bugs, reporting them on our Official Forums helps us hunt down issues and lets us know what you like!
Bugs are always a problem, and today’s PC hotfix is all about getting them crushed underfoot! Here are some of the little fixes and changes you may have missed, but certainly deserve a look!
Tatsu-riffic! - Fixed an issue where the Tatsu would stop being spiffy once the user had taken a dirt-nap.
Heavy Reload! - Archguns will now get their ammo back after cooldown has been reached. Before, clients would find themselves with a really heavy club, instead.
Not-So-Cautious Shot! - Self damage caused by the Cautious Shot Mod has been reduced to 99% (it was 90%).
Leaky Khora! - Fixed an issue where Strangledome would also inadvertently strangle the FPS over long periods of time. We made sure that your FPS was removed as a potential target and sent it on it’s way.
Thanks for stopping by this latest episode of Remote Observer, and don’t hesitate to drop by our Official Forums if you want to see more discussions!
