WHAT IS PLATINUM?

Platinum is the in-game currency of Warframe used to purchase various enhancements in the game, including, but not limited to, upgrades, boosts, weapons and Warframes. Although any player can purchase Platinum, Prime Access packages offer Platinum at dramatically reduced prices.

DO I NEED TO BUY PLATINUM TO ENJOY WARFRAME?

While buying Platinum may give you access to weapons, Warframes and other features faster than normal, nearly all content in Warframe can be earned over time for free. We do hope that you find the game entertaining enough to support our continued development efforts through purchases.

CAN I TRADE PLATINUM?

In addition to allowing you to purchase goods from our in-game store, Platinum can also be traded to other players, usually in exchange for rare Mods or other hard-to-get items. While we encourage you to engage in trading with other players, be aware of the EULA and Terms of Service where re-selling Platinum through trading is strictly prohibited and can jeopardize your account status.

WHAT IS PRIME ACCESS?

Prime Access is a special bundle of heavily discounted Platinum, rare Prime gear, credit and experience boosters, and a Prime Warframe. You can find out more information on our Prime Access page, which includes pricing details and a complete FAQ.

WHAT IS PRIME VAULT?

Prime Vault is an extension of the Prime Access program. Prime Vault is a limited-time only, rotating program reintroducing previously retired Prime Warframes and Prime Gear available as a bundle with discounted Platinum.

WHERE DO I GET A COPY OF WARFRAME?

Playing Warframe on Nintendo Switch is easy – download the game for free by visiting the Nintendo eShop. HOW DO I REPORT A BUG OR PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT?

Any questions or concerns about an in-game issue should be brought to our official forums. Nintendo Switch related bugs should all be reported in their relevant sub-forum. We encourage players to visit the relevant platform Update & Build Notes sub-forum to keep track of the most recent Updates and Fixes to the game.

If you are having an issue with your account (i.e. Platinum purchases, goods missing from account, etc.), please submit a support ticket through our Warframe Support system so we can help.

I’M HAVING CONNECTIVITY ISSUES, HELP!

If you’re having a hard time connecting to Warframe or are experiencing connectivity problems in game you may want to check your NAT settings. Strict NAT can cause quite a few issues when playing online games, and you can check our quick guide on UPnP for more information.

Woah, let me stop you right there! If you’re having a hard time finding a good mission to collect resources on, need some help locating Warframe parts, or just want to know a little more about a particular drop, you should check out our Wiki. Our Support Page is also a great source of information if you’re new to the game and aren’t sure how to access a feature (like disbanding a Clan).

CAN YOU PLAY OFFLINE?

Offline play is currently not supported - make sure you're connected to enjoy our online game!

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLAYING IN HANDHELD VS. DOCKED MODE?

As with all games on the Nintendo Switch, playing in handheld mode will reduce the system's power and may impact performance.

WHICH VERSION OF WARFRAME WILL BE AVAILABLE AT LAUNCH?

Warframe on the Nintendo Switch will launch with the Mask of the Revenant Update, with the remainder of updates following soon after. Once this is accomplished the plan is for Nintendo Switch to receive the same updates on or around the same time as PlayStation and Xbox One.

While this may initially take time to accomplish, the plan is for Warframe on Nintendo Switch to be up to date with other Console platforms.

IS THERE CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY?

There is no cross-platform play for Warframe on any platforms.

DO I NEED A NINTENDO SWITCH ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION TO PLAY?

Nope - freely enjoy our free game!

DOES WARFRAME SUPPORT MOTION CONTROLS?

The Nintendo Switch version of Warframe will support aiming using the Gyroscope sensor, so get ready to line up that perfect shot, Tenno.

WHAT TYPE OF VOICE CHAT DOES WARFRAME SUPPORT?

To use voice-chat in Warframe on Nintendo Switch, simply plug your headset into either the audio jack or USB-C port and talk to your squad using Warframe’s built-in voice-chat. You can enable or disable voice-chat from the options menu, as well as adjusting volume.

HOW DO I MANAGE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION?

When you launch Warframe for the first time on Nintendo Switch, you will be prompted to allow Warframe to receive account information directly from the Switch. If you accept, you will be able to log into Warframe.com using your Nintendo Switch Account info and can manage your information from the Account Management page.
